Each is a different preset — a curated combination of colour palette, scale, and other parameters — evaluated on the same underlying algorithm. Because they share a generator, they share characteristic visual properties while still offering variety within that material family. If you need multiple variants of the same material type in a render (for example, three different marble slabs for a countertop render), pulling several textures from one generator is the fastest way to get consistency.

Practical tips
All textures tile seamlessly with mathematically verified edges — the top wraps to the bottom, the left to the right, and no visible seam appears when tiled repeatedly. If you need the same texture at a different resolution later, you can re-download it from the generator at any supported size (1024, 2048, or 4096 pixels) without losing quality. Seed values are preserved in the URL, so bookmarks reproduce the exact same texture months later.
